MARCH FOR MEALS - COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS 2025
Each year, Meals on Wheels providers across Ontario take part in March for Meals, an annual campaign that raises awareness and strengthens community engagement with Meals on Wheels programs.
At the North Shore Health Network, our dedicated Meals on Wheels volunteers delivered 3,365 meals in the last year to clients in Blind River and surrounding area.
Meals on Wheels Community Champions Week was held March 17-21. NSHN welcomed Town of Blind River Mayor Sally Hagman and OPP Cadet Keira Chisholm alongside our very own President & CEO Tim Vine, who participates regularly in the program.
For many, a Meals on Wheels volunteer is the only friendly face they see all day. You can make a difference - volunteer, donate and/or advocate for #MarchforMeals2025. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering for Meals on Wheels or any other Community Support Services programs offered by NSHN - contact 705-356-2265 ext. 2450.
